What Do You Think Of Leather?
Here is my new thrifty outfit - What do you think???? Do I look to old to wear leather? I saw it at my resale shop and said to myself "What the heck, Go for it". It was $4.00 so I snatched it up. I feel kinda badass in it so I'm glad I bought it : ) I looked through my close room to find a shirt to go with the skirt and after a few I didn't like I found this one. I bought this shirt at City Thrift down in Daytona Beach for $2.45 (It was buy one shirt get another 1/2 price). I think it looks good together and it kinda rocks with the ZiggySoho boots! I just HATE my knees, they look like they have faces in them (they are scarred up from years ago when I missed a curb and fell & tore my knees all up)..... I always wear stockings when wearing a dress or skirt so I hope that hides the rough looking knees.
My makeup try is from another great book I am reading "How To Look Expensive" by Andrea Pomerantz Lustig. She suggested buying coconut milk and putting it in the fridge and using it as a moisturizer. I bought Goya brand coconut milk for $1.74 at Target kept in the fridge overnight and sure enough it solidified and is very creamy. I tried it this morning taking just a little and putting all over my face and neck - It was a little tingly when I applied it so I was a bit nervous, but so far so good. I'll keep you updated as to how it works out - Wouldn't it be great to find a moisturizer that actually worked for $1.74!
You look great! I am getting ready to turn 50 and I am so dreading it ... good to see there's life after 50. :-)
